1909 OAKLAND MODEL 40 TOURING:

This 1909 Oakland 40 horsepower Touring is owned by Bob & Sylvia Roughton of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The car was brought to us to correct some mechanical woes that have been plaguing the car for awhile.  The engine has a nasty vibration and a tendancy to run hot.   The engine, transmission, the brakes and rear axle will be disassembled, inspected and rebuilt in preparation for upcoming vintage Brass & Gas touring.
