1929 FORD SEDAN

A Briggs bodied 1929 Ford Model A Town Sedan owned by 'Jerry' & Debi Maize of Franklin, North Carolina.

This vehicle has a wonderful history.  Jerry's mother, who lived in Colorado, drove this car to the Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska to attend college.  After graduation in 1949 she drove the car back home to Colorado.  Upon her return, the following morning Jerry's grandfather went out to move the car but it failed to start so he hooked to it with the tractor and "drug" it out behind the barn where it sat in the same location until 1991 when Jerry went to retrieved it.  Shown below is Jerry's Mom standing on the running board.  Click here to see the likely reason the car would not start.

Plans are to completely restore the Model A so Jerry and his Mom can return to the College with the Model A for a "homecoming".
